For one entire week in January, we woke to foggy mornings that turned to foggy afternoons. You could hardly tell 8am from 3pm. At first it felt dreary until I realized it actually felt relaxing and was equally beautiful. The hoarfrost usually is only around early in the morning but that week it lasted all day and woke to more the next.
We went for a walk on one of these mornings to a local nature reserve and it was absolutely stunning. The frost covered the bare forest trees and lit up the prairie grass. We brought our camera along and documented the beauty of winter.
