BRANDING, FOOD STYLING, PHOTOGRAPHY
Simple, unique and approachable are three concepts I think about when beginning a design project. Throughout my thesis exploration, it became clear to me that I am most passionate about branding, especially branding restaurant identities. The process fascinates and excites me across all design aspects. From the moment you approach a restaurant you begin to engage in its branding which carries through to the experience of the sights and smells once you enter inside. I am equally passionate about s’mores, therefore branding a gourmet s’more shop became the perfect project. My goal was to engage all of the senses while showing a complete brand design. By taking a simple dessert and adding a unique spin on the ingredients, I was able to create a gourmet feel that is still approachable to consumers.
